How to balance your body and soul - the healing effect of meditation

In today's fast, hectic and stressful life we usually forget the most important thing - to live! We are constantly rushing from one appointment to the next, have a long to-do list and need to reconcile household, family and friends as well as work. But these issues are not as tiny as we think! They have an enormous impact on our stress level, which we do not even notice consciously. But when exactly do we actually listen to ourselves and pay attention to our subconscious?

One technique that can help us to stop sprinting after life is meditation, which allows us to completely switch off for a while, clear our minds and give our psyche an incredibly valuable time-out!

People have been practicing meditation for many thousands of years in a variety of cultures and countries. The method of pausing, mental training and completely shutting down our constantly rattling brain has been carried into our modern society. What was practiced mainly in the circles of monks as a daily ritual, has become a real trend today. No wonder, because meditation can do more than relax body and soul!

Studies have shown that meditation can even alleviate or heal physical ailments due to its healing effect on the psyche! Because body and soul are more closely linked than we think. Through meditation stress is reduced, emotions and positive thinking are strengthened and our memory, patience, mindfulness as well as concentration are trained. The list of positive effects is long! So, why not just pause, find a quiet place and try meditating?
