Good mood at the push of a button is impossible? Here's how you can learn to be in a good mood!

You are not in a good mood every day, that's for sure! But as soon as you do, it benefits your whole body and soul! You suddenly see everything more easily, nothing can throw you off course as quickly, and you laugh at the little mishaps of everyday life instead of letting them dampen your spirits. But unfortunately, good mood does not appear very often in everyday life. You meet bad-tempered people everywhere who don't seem to enjoy life properly, and that's contagious! But that doesn't have to be the case, because you are able to learn how to be in a good mood! Find out how to do this and make your everyday life a little more enjoyable!

Manifest the positive!

Who hasn't experienced, that negative events seem to be remembered more than many small positive ones? On a seemingly normal day, many things happen, which are composed of numerous small snippets and experiences in the evening to form a complete day's experience. If the majority of them were positive, you still think about the one or two things that were negative when you go to bed in the evening. Too bad, isn't it? 

If you want to change this, you can start by becoming aware that thoughts about the negative things of the day should not be given so much value. The positive experiences are the ones that should be celebrated and paid attention to! An evening ritual can help to internalize this. In the evening, just before you go to sleep, lie down in your bed, close your eyes and let the day pass in review. Take a few minutes and notice the positive as well as the negative experiences. For sure, something will have happened that did not work out perfectly. But it is even more likely that many nice things happened. You may have met a friendly person in the supermarket, maybe you were smiled at, received a phone call from a good friend or the weather was particularly great! It can be the most diverse things that make you personally happy. It is the positive parts of the day that should be given the most attention here. At the same time, be proud of yourself for having done something particularly well, praise and celebrate yourself!

This short time before going to sleep can help you wake up the next morning with the positive memories of the evening and start the new day in a good mood. Just try it out!
